Great video, my only problem with the Mathews is they slit the split limbs. 4 very thin limbs to me is just something else to worry about breaking. It’s a good bow, I can’t get that mental doubt out of my head.

I can't understand why Mathews hasn't produced a flat back grip that people prefer... maybe to sell more side plates

What release are you using in this video?

Different draw lengths, no speed test, no sound comparison, weight comparison, or decision which you would rather go home with 🤷‍♂️ Hoping you do this one over again more thoroughly. Always enjoy your reviews, this one just seemed rushed.

I don’t understand why people are worried about the split limbs and the rubber breaking. They test these things like crazy for a long time before they sell them. Also have a lifetime warranty. Fix or replace for free. Mathews all day

Completely agree about the Engage grip on the V3X. Almost went home with the Hoyt but I really like the long riser on the Mathews. Was a real hard choice but for me, I do better with a longer riser. I put the Shrewd grip on my V3X and that was a game changer. Only about $45. Mathews should ship their bows with this grip.

Dude, why don’t you slow down your draw speed a little bit? You yank the bows back seemingly as fast as possible…if you can’t slow down on your draw cycle, you are probably pulling too much weight. You yank the string back then talk about the draw cycle, lol. SLOW DOWN…it will help you in a lot of ways, especially hunting. You really can’t ‘feel’ the draw cycle when you just yank it back super fast. This video isn’t as bad as normal, but try to slow down your draw cycle a bit. If you can not draw super smooth, and slower…you are pulling too much weight. Not knocking you, and I appreciate your time and effort, making the vids. I respect and appreciate you, but slow down man…it makes learning the draw cycle way easier, and will just make you a better shooter, and definitely help you in the hunting woods. Thanks for the vid brother.

Both of them will shoot better than most of us can shoot them

Not a very good review when you have the wrong draw length and your chronograph is not working.
