Just picked up a ventum pro 33 since they were on clearance. Love it!

Nice review, Can't go wrong with either bow. Just comes down to which one feels better for you.

Two solid bows right there! Picked up V3X 29 a few months ago so I won’t be getting anything new lol. However if I ever do, I’ll probably get something with a longer ATA.

I just tried both out last night at Scheels. At 65# I swear the Mathews was visibly faster. Maybe it was just more violent? The Hoyt was definitely smoother by a long shot. If I had the money they'd both come home with me! I am a lifelong Mathews fan but I may have to pick up the Hoyt this time. The deeper grooves in the cam of the Hoyt give me a little more comfort too. The Scheels rep said he sees about 1/2 as many VTMs come back for minor service compared to the Phase 4s. This rep was also a Mathews fan.
