Hey guys! In this video we compare the NEW 2025 LIFT X, 2024 LIFT, and the 2023 Phase 4! Over the last few years Mathews has come out with some insane bows so I thought it would be a good idea to compare them head to head to help you out if your on the fence whether or not you "NEED" to upgrade your "OLD" Mathews to the new LIFT X. YOU DON'T! All comments in this video are my OPINION! I hope this helps some of you guys out. Thanks for watching!

I’m with you on holding off. I have a lift 29.5 and love it. Got it last December so I haven’t had any limb issues. I don’t think it’s worth the 5-$600 hit to upgrade for that one feature. If they come out with more adjustments next year I’ll do it. I hope thy do because I’m definitely being tempted by elite, darton and even bowtech for their adjustability. It would be really nice to play around with draw length and let off to figure out what you shoot best with.

I absolutely love my phase 4 29. It’s my TAC bow and I shoot that thing lights out.

The proper way tune a bow without micro tuning, is to shim your cam, and move your rest within the allowable tolerance that the manufacture specifies. There's nothing wrong with that. You do not need to leave your rest at perfect dead center. It will not affect the performance if you move it within the manufacturer specified tolerance.

I see you don't have a integrated rest on that bow but still have a low pro quiver, do your arrows clear with that when they're in the quiver?

Lift x 29.5, had a phase 4 33 and it’s not bad it’ll do the job ofc but the lift is just more pleasant to shoot personally

I would take a Traverse over all three

I agree much. I have shot Matthews since I was 16 and I'm 37. I have the phase 4 right now and to be honest I almost hate the fact that I need a bow press for everything... So much so that I think I might make the jump to getting a totally different bow & that hurts to say but hey ... I don't have the time or the money to go to my archery shop an hour away every time I need a simple tuning adjustment. Idk, it shoots so amazing and it makes it hard to make this decision but I like tinkering and it's impossible to do with this bow without a dang press. Blehh 😮‍💨

The RS is still a flagship bow…. It’s just shorter ATA for treestand hunting and shorter draw lengths. I think that’s the best one out of the 4 for whitetail anyway
