How to Transfer Files Between Two Windows Laptops - Fast

Transferring files from your old computer to your new computer has traditionally been measured in hours. And depending on the size of the transfer, it could easily take longer still.

With the new Thunderbolt Transfer Cable from Plugable (TBT-TRAN), you can transfer the contents of one Thunderbolt-equipped Windows computer to another Thunderbolt-equipped Windows computer at speeds of up to 10Gbps. That’s 5x faster than transferring over a USB 3.0 Transfer Cable. That means 1TB of data can move between computers in minutes rather than hours.

I plan transfer everything (programs, data, user info, files, etc.) from an old laptop to a new laptop. I would even like the desktops to be the same. Will your cable enable this?

Is the license one time use or can utilize it more than one time for different laptops ?. Also whether I go to thunderbolt or usb cables, any brand will work or only should I buy it from you ?

Does this use TBT's networking ability? SMB has a lot of overhead that shows things down.

Hi, If I have my own TB3/TB4 cable and I buy your Bravura Software, will that work? I'm assuming the cable you are selling is a regular TB cable, nothing different than the one I have correct ?

Hello ! I'm looking for a solution to connect two PC that are in the same room and local network. We work with HUGE files ( video editing ). The computers only have a 2.5Gbs ethernet connectics, so only around 300Mo/s transfer speed. So we use an external SSD to have a 850Gbs connection but its an annoyoing work around. I would really like to connect them permanently with a stable and fast connection. We have USB C 3.2 gen 2 ( 20Gbs connection ).

Your product seems to be what i'm looking for, but if I understand correctly it only works with thunderbolt. Do you have or will you have the same product working with standart USB C 3.2 Gen 2 ? Or even gen 1 10Gbs like your actual product ?

Thank you

Kaptation
