Car insurance premiums are skyrocketing across in LA County, but why?

Car insurance premiums are going up around the country, and Los Angeles County features 30 of California's most expensive cities for average rates. Kristine Lazar takes a look at why these numbers continue to climb.

Vile insurance conglomerate. You are supposed to fight them by having options in LA where you don't drive and be at their mercy at all times, but public transport in LA is an abomination also. Basically people in LA are getting hammered on all fronts - housing, food, fuel, unsafe public transport, astronomical insurance, traffic, crime, pollution, parking tickets. They just keep voting for the same, insanity.

Mostly insurance scams, chiropractors, PI, bodyshops, doctors, parts, policy holders ALL have to get paid. Policy holders getting paid the least amount.

Inflation should be a 2 way the price of everything goes up. Then so should our time for everyone to march towards Washington and demand change before we tear it all down.

Rate hikes are inevitable...but why and what legal law gives the the right to request 50% of the renewal payment premium if you pay monthly. Elderly and fixed income people are hit a first bill 3 times the monthly payment. This commissioner, Ricardo Lara is allowing this? Time for a recall of this guy
