If you were in a car crash, you would expect your insurance rates to go up. But the call came to Get Gephardt. from a St. George woman who says her rate skyrocketed, even though she's been a perfect driver.

That happened to us. We bounced to another company and saved $500 for 6 month policy. We took defensive driving, over 50 driving, drive less than 100 miles per month, all cars are paid off, no tickets, no duis, don't drive during rush hour or late at night. They all say it's the uninsured policy that is the reason. We keep the policy due to the fact we can't afford to pop out and dump 80k on a new vehicle. We should reimbursed for our careful driving for no tickets, no claims, etc., every year. 25% sound good.

I just had to change insurance because my old insurance company stopped doing business in Utah. My new auto insurance premium was over $100 LESS than I was paying with the old company.

Don't drive like the typical Utahn and they don’t hit you with high premiums, folks.

EV's.... once in an accident those cars are almost always totalled. It adds up.... I just wish it only added up for those who own EV's and stop making us gas guzzlers pay for EV's problems.

No one is monitoring who has insurance so if you get into a wreck 99% of the time the other person does not have insurance.

Well, due to inflation, these companies need to adjust their pay due to an increase of cost of living. I’ve paid 10s of thousands of dollars for auto, home, health insurance throughout the year and have never use home or auto.

There are various reasons premiums go up and none are pleasant. My agent told me that the costs to repair newer vehicles due to increased technology is costlier

My rates went up over 2 years ago because of a fender bender in a parking lot that was clearly both of our fault and since it went from around 60 to 120 a month . I tried looking into other companies and can not find someone cheaper, as a matter of fact they want more . I'm currently insuring a vehicle that's not drivable that's 44 a month and it will never drive again . I'm in Alabama

All the illegal aliens driving w/o insurance, people stealing cars. Road rage, etc. has caused the insurance company to charge us for criminal activity.
