According to the rate comparison website, Insurify, people can expect their car insurance premiums to go up by 7% this year. That's on top of a 9% percent increase in 2022, and a recent Lending Tree study predicts Arizona is set to have the second-highest rate increase in the entire country this year.

my insurance was 770 in May for six months... just got a bill for the end of this month 914 for the same exact insurance I have a perfect driving record driving history... 20% increase and I just shopped around for other insurance they want even more.. so people get ready it's going up even more if it's going up for me 20% is insane I have full coverage on a car that's a 2013 but it's still worth 9k so I don't wanna take that risk I need to have full coverage should I raise my deductible right now it's 500.. would that make much of a difference if I raise it to 1k or something like that .. or should I drop collision completely..?

When I commute to work and am surrounded by drivers that drive like they are qualifying for NASCAR I totally understand why I am paying much more.

Just wait till you realize your state is of the few who mandate worker compensation costs and coverage as well, compared elsewhere such as Maine or Alabama or Arkansas that have minimum employee exemptions with savings in the thousands

MISLEADING STORY

This report does not have AZ stock footage, you dictate your rates, if you crash often your rates spike, rates don't JUST go up

Under Arizona law, if you have not caused or significantly contributed to the cause of an accident, your car insurance rates or premiums cannot be raised. Specifically, A.R.S. § 20-263 provides: “ No insurer shall increase the motor vehicle insurance premium of an insured as a result of an accident not caused or significantly contributed to by the actions of the insured. Any insurer which increases the premium as a result of accident involvement shall notify the insured of the reason for such increase.”
