Maybe it also has something to do with all the uninsured, unregister, and unlicensed people that drive a car….

I wonder why?

- Car breakins
- Thefts
- Police chases
- Street takeovers
- Idiot drivers
- TOO MANY PEOPLE

I have not had an accident in over 30 years and mine keeps going up in Mississippi. I have a 2009 GMC Sierra with only 41000 miles on it. I am retired and drive less than 2000 miles per year. REDICULOUS.

Crime and greed are the only two reasons why insurance companies are jacking up the rates

This is nuts. As if we weren't having enough trouble getting by already. Thank you, politicians.

Farmers agent here. If you’re 55+ you can take a driving defense course and you’ll get a three year discount. For everyone else, make sure you let your agent know how many years of experience you have, it can really help with the premium.

Its the CRIME in Los Santos, I lived there my entire life. My truck was broken into multiple times, our house was broken into MULTIPLE times. Then when 2 friends were murdered on my street I decided to leave the state. Enough is enough. RIP JOEY TELLES and Joe Telles who's murders were NEVER solved but yet everyone in the neighborhood knew who was responsible. Life in Los Angeles is a joke and not a place to raise a family.

One of the ways to save listed is to drop collision or comprehensive coverage. This is dumb advice. The minimum property damage coverage in CA is $5, 000, meaning that if someone hits your car, the most that person’s insurance will pay is $5, 000, and if there are more vehicles in the crash, that money is shared between all of the non-fault parties. If you have collision coverage, then your insurance company will cover the rest to repair/replace your car. If you don’t have that coverage, then you are really screwed. Comprehensive coverage covers your vehicle from damage not caused by a crash.

Most importantly, with rates going up, people will drop or reduce their coverage, which means that you should increase your uninsured/underinsured coverage, which covers you in case the person that hits you has no coverage or minimum coverage.

Good luck.

" Not quite sure why rates are going up." Thanks Eric. Safe answer. Wouldnt want to offend any of the responsible parties.

Democratic Insurance Commissioner is absolutely inept. Vote him out please.

And what other states have car registration fees that increase yearly as your car gets older and presumably worth less? Off hand, I don’t think any others exist.

Wow can’t pay high insurance and get taxed to pay for all the migrants programs but are freeways are so dirty, the other day a fire truck going down the emergency lane was throwing debris out the side of tires hitting cars and windshields
