2 year relationship finished and I am struggling with letting them go. I felt like God has told me to keep the door open but it’s really painful. One way to avoid heartbreak is getting into a relationship with a non beliver. I was with an amazing women, she had done nothing wrong and we were perfectly happy and both of us still want to be together, but if you really Love God he will eventually win your heart back and you'll follow and do as he asks, you will be torn between someone you physically love and Jesus. This is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to surrender and lay down. I pray for her every day, she hasn't rejected God, but it has to be her own will if she becomes saved and it's unfair for me to put that requirement on her or manipulate the situation in anyway... I don't need advice or a response to this as the bible is clear, this is for anyone else in this situation so you know you're not alone.

#4 is hard when the heart set on someone, especially one the Lord seemed to have provided. What's currently helping me (through a resolving heartbreak) is resting in God's ability to provide mutual confirmation between man and woman, make a good way between them, and guidance for them. I erred in idolizing this relationship earlier and overthinking future steps rather than trusting in God with necessary faith and action. This video is gold.
