On Halloween my church would have Hallelujah Night. Kids would dress up as people from the Bible. We had music, face painting, games, food and treats. It was fun actually.

I was raised in a Christian home. My parents didnt allow me to watch Harry Potter, Coco and Wizards of Waverly place till I was 12-13. Now i watched all of them 2-3 times and I'm a potterhead.

But, dont get me wrong. I never let my love for these movies get between me and God.

Oh shoot, frick, crap. Bro this is so relatable 😂 I wasn’t allowed to watch SpongeBob or stuff like that. I did get to watch Harry Potter though and I’m glad I did because it’s one of my favorites but everything else is on point

My father is a pastor and he doesn't even let us watch movies, can't go out with friends, doesn't celebrate any festivals and asks us everyday if we prayed and read the Bible. He is very serious when it comes to spiritual things and I respect him.

Yep. No Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (violence), no Pirates of the Caribbean (voodoo), no Halloween (instead Fall Festival at Church), etc...but when I was old enough to understand the Bible, now I get it. God requires Christians to lead a holy life AND that it's good for us. He loves us, and I will raise my children to obey God as well, to show Him that we love Him 💙
