I am 16 years old and my dad is in his 70s. My father met my mum in his 50s and he never had a girlfriend before my mum. He trusted in God and knew that everything is in Gods hands. As someone at 16 wanting to have a girlfriend because I want someone to be with, my father reminds me that God is in control and he has the perfect one for you, just wait and trust in God. I am very thankful to have a father like him and he has shown me to not worry, live life knowing God is in control and he has amazing plans for you. I had a girlfriend before who was non Christian because I just wanted to have a relationship but now I know that God will have the perfect someone for me, who loves the lord and will help me.

I know this is something I've been praying about myself, and I came to the realization that I was in fact idolizing marriage. I believed that once I was married I would be complete. Needless to say, I believe now that the reason I haven't had a serious relationship yet is because God knows that I need to be complete in Him before I'm ready. This video has a lot of good stuff, and I pray many more people who need to see video will see it.

I had a massive struggles with loneliness and longing for relationships, but as time with Christ passed, I was completely healed, and now I don't really have much desire for it, but rather fully enjoy my time with my church and God's people!

At some point of my spiritual growth I understood that love is hard and I need to be ready for relationships beforhand, but Jesus and I have so much work to do in me, that it is not just there yet.

This is exactly what I needed. The holy spirit let me find this. I've been idolizing marriage thinking that it will solve all of my problems and flaws but God is getting me to see that I'm just not ready. I'm not emotionally, spiritually or even financially mature yet. I still have a long way to go in being content with just Jesus and a temper to work on as well. I want more than anything to advance in life with a lifelong partner but I got a lot of work to do before then and that's ok. Thank you for making this video it really is the work of the holy spirit.

I wish that I had seen this video sooner. I recently allowed myself to become completely emotionally reliant on a girl who ended up shattering my heart. I had stopped chasing God, stopped following my goals, and allowed my good habits to slip away. All because I put this girl at the center of my life instead of the Lord. God showed me the error of my ways and allowed me to break so that I could learn from my mistakes and find my way back to Him. I’m healing slowly, but I’ve now learned to put my trust in Him and lean on him completely. Hopefully this will help at least one person avoid the same mistake I made. It's harder to find this kind of love in such a diverse world where christianity is now more about saying you believe in God's existence rather than living by his way ☹️

Thanks for the reminder. l've never been in a relationship and am waiting for the Lord's perfect timing for me. Whenever I am feeling lonely, I always turn to God and remember his grace, and all my longing and loneliness vanish. Now I am very content and happy knowing that the Lord is always there for me. Whether the right man comes or not I am very thankful and blessed.

Man...God has been preparing me. By the grace of God, I've been doing 95% of all of these things. I've just been feeling down because I wasn't seeing fruit. It's hard and I don't always get appreciated.
