Showing a guy that didn't make it out alive while saying you made it out alive is pretty boss.

We have cottonmouths, water moccasins, copperheads, black rat snakes on our property, we see them go in our lake, we don’t swim in it because of the snakes and snapping turtles, we live in the middle of a forest so it’s where they live as well, I just don’t venture into the yard very much

What they didn't mention, is that even with antivenom, a person bitten by a Puffadder will still lose massive chunks of meat or even lose a limb.
This is due to the rapid necrosis that the venom causes.

The tiger snake is marked with bands, not "stripes" (garter snakes have stripes running the length of the body).

I spent a lot of time in the Philippines, I swam
And snorkled along the coral reefs, and shoals, and the snakes never gave me a problem, along with schools of barracuda, never once felt threatened, feared the great white, only seen one time while snorkeling a shoal approx 100 yards, turned around very slowly, and made my way back to shore, WOW !I am now 68yrs. Old -lol.

Snakes look like something from another planet. Imagine if they actually hunted humans, relying on their venom to kill. They are an engineering marvel.

sucking venom doesn't do any damage since the venom would not be in contact with a person's blood, it will be digested in the stomach. unless the person has a wound in their mouth with blood exposure.

If bitten by a venomous snake remain calm seek medical attention asap. Antivenin or medical ventilation machine is the only thing that will help you from long term effects of their hemotoxic or neurotoxic venom . Everything else is a waste of time getting the proper medical treatment except for if bitten by a elapid species applied pressure bandage to the bite does help.
