I fear more on Irukandji than any jellyfish species because I won't see them swimming around me.

What the hell? Jellyfish Biologist here, Moon Jellyfish and Cannonball Jellyfish are NOT dangerous 😂.

They only way you would get any of those symptoms would be if you’re allergic to those species’ nematocysts. Every other species listed here is pretty spot on, though.

I live in Poland and we have jellyfish in sea, they don't sting they are called in Polish Chełbia Morska, you can touch it stingers bt it won't even annoy your skin.

I got stung by a moon jellyfish before and it took me less than 5 minutes for the pain to go away not a week and They're the world's least painful sting

That’s why i have a fear of jellyfish. Never thought that jellyfish could be that big. it’s so bad that when i saw a picture of jellyfish i thought one was in my bed somewhere.

I remember I went to the beach after a night out and I was floating around on my back for a good 20-30 minutes and then I looked my right saw an old dude looking into the water and was trying to say something to me from a far. After he got my attention I looked down and I was surrounded by tons of jellyfish the entire time I was floating there 😂.
