Hey Chaps! What's your DREAM monitor right now??

This is absolutely perfect and hits everything I want in a monitor apart from 1 thing. I need this in a 32 inch version. Getting close

I'm still waiting for 32" non pentile oled. At that point it will be a must have for me.

I was waiting for this to be released as it's a 42" OLED pc monitor. Can't wait to see Tom's video comparing the PG42UQ to the other options, such as the LG 42" C2.

This HAS to be reviewed against the LG C2. I was thinking of getting that but this also looks appealing.

Good timing. My subs were exploding with that 55" abomination Samsung calls a monitor. 42" is the absolute maximum I would consider as an actual monitor and this looks incredible. Though the 42" should cost even lower than the 48" one, 200 less would be better.

32 inch and 240hz would be perfect. Hopefully it comes next year.

Looking forward to your review. Wondering how watching TV and movies would be on this display.

For me. I like the gloss panel. I know for some the reflections are annoying but it's doesn't bother me as my room has no windows and it's designed to be a media room. I've always felt that anti glare/matte finished dont allow for blacks to truly be black. I would have to see in person how these anti glare oled screens look. As of now I'm using the aorus fv43U qled monitor and it's been a blast for my consoles and pc. But I still want oled so I might give this a try or the lg c2 42 and have a secondary 27 inch 1440p monitor for other pc use if the dimming on the lg.

This is great, 42inch 4k is perfect for me, my hope is that they have burn in prevention cause I want to use it for atleast 5 years.

hi guys, i'm quite interested by the ASUS PG42UQ screen. I see it was released almost 2 years ago (august 2022) : is there a newer version announced (or expected) soon?

I wish they would make a 32" version.

Very interesting for the text quality improvement, but for me 42 is too big, I need a 32" with the same technology.

PG42UQ looks like the best one of them all. Alienware QD-OLED was close but the color fringing galore is a deal breaker.

I've got an LG C2 42". Honestly the only thing that bothers me with it is the 3:27 brightness adjustments.
This is actually a big deal as using these size displays is really meant for gaming/media consumption where this matters a lot.

I just am disappointed with the 42" price at £1400. I got my C2 a few weeks ago for £950 because LG/Retailers have already started discounting this product.
Not so sure about ASUS's discount over time.

These screen sizes are insane. I can’t imagine using a 42” gaming monitor. I tried going up to 32” after using 27” for song long and it really just made me appreciate the 27” size even more.

I just ordered the LG C1 48 inch. It's by far the best TV/Monitor you can get at the moment for the price. Nothing else comes close unless you are willing to pay thousands of dollars. I watched your reviews and dozens of others and even though it's a 2021 TV, nothing else comes close for below 800 dollars or even double that.
