So all it REALLY needed was the power cable, not the expensive board. Same thing happened on mine.

I have a PDW7880R10SS was fully functional however I had in storage and hired someone to help clean it out, however the person opened the dishwasher using a hose and soaked the lid while it was horizontal. So I suspect the board got soaked. We dried it out as much as possible. Then reinstalled it, the unit is coming on however the touch control panel isn’t functioning at all. I’m not sure if I should change the control board completely or the touch control panel. Doing research to see what part to get. Please an advice thanks

Some times you can reset the ui it’s a little trick 🎉 lol I am with top dawg appliance in Louisville ky😊

I feel so dumb asking but I need help.

If I accidentally (well usually the kids) press start after adding a single dish before it’s full. How do we stop it?! I’ve held down the reset button (which is same as start) expecting to it stop the cycle. It doesn’t always work though. Sometimes it does. How many seconds are you supposed to hold it down exactly? Thanks!!

Hey. I have this exact issue. I also replaced both the UI and control board and triple checked my connections. Which cable did you say you replaced? Was it the wiring harness that plugs into the UI board that leads to the underside of the control board? I see no obvious damage to any cables, that's why I'm perplexed. Totally stumped

That water leak could have become a big deal in a hurry
