This one merits a follow-up! How do you have/develop good relationships at work? If someone is persecuting you, how do you handle it? What do you do when others gossip or slander you at work? (Jesus both submitted and stood up for himself. How do we know which one to do? How do we know when to let it go or take a stand?)

One way I look at it is as one goes up into leadership roles, what you do has more impact and visibility. Also leadership roles will need to work more with other teams and departments thus where some could take it as playing politics instead of networking or relationship building skill that one needs to acquire to be successful in leadership roles

Hmm changing such a narrative can prove so much more useful in combating the divers personalities traits and behaviours we can encounter. I'm definitely gonna keep this in mind when I'm at the office. That's wassup!
