TOOK YOU SO LONG (7:15 minutes) TO START THE ADVICE I FORGOT WHAT I WAS LEARNING ABOUT!

Your videos are always helpful, I have taken your course but these YouTube videos help me to kind of recap what I've learned and takes me back into the course, I have completed around 49% of the course on Udemy and I can't believe how comprehensive it is, I often find myself using the techniques learned from the course. There was a video a few weeks ago about how you often used to forget to use your own memory techniques sometimes which makes the work harder than it should be and then you would remind yourself that you know these techniques and then use those techniques to complete your work in remarkably shorter time, that video was immensely helpful, whenever I found myself stuck somewhere, I would also ask myself whether I'm using the right technique. The memory palace technique is my favourite and I love how you explain things, specially how you explained neural networks in the course, that alone improved my memory a whole lot. Thanks a lot.

Is there a way to improve working memory? See, I don't need to memorize stuff like formulas or words or names, etc. What I really need is to be able to remember the concepts that I use in a thinking process. For example, If I'm trying to find the solution to any kind of problem in my head, I can only get to the third layer or step of the thinking process without losing the information I'm trying to build on top of. This makes me have to go back to the first steps of the thinking process over and over, making finding the solution very difficult and slow. I hope this makes sense. I've seen a lot of videos talking about memory palaces and visual associations and I know they do work for memorizing stuff, but I believe the case I'm talking about actually requires a different approach.

Simply awesome! A complex thing explained in such a simple way! I have joined your course and while browsing the net, I jumped in exhilaration to find your video here. One thing more, I would like to congratulate for your book 'The Only Thing that Matters!', it's very effective!

Interesting video for sure, though i found it a bit ironic you had to use a teleprompter for this script, considering the subject matter :P great stuff still!

you can tell by the slightly askew eye-gaze (he's not looking into the lens directly, but just next to the lens), and you can see the reflection of the two shaded studio lights and the teleprompter in the reflection in his eyes

For long term memory we can use mnemonics like 32= MAN
But what about short time I even unable to put more than 5 digit for the calculation

My working memory is a god while my short term memory is meh and my long term is complete poop

Currently at 10:23 im replacing the storage from a grass landscape to a shack with shelves

Ever since quarantine i forgot how good i used to be at memorization and realized how good school got me to constantly use visual memory and working memory at the same time

So i think ill just do thing like math, memory games, and type racing to periodically train back

Your video where you deny the existence of aphantasia is insulting and you completely either misunderstand or intentionally misrepresent the information you reference. You also have the comments turned off which tells me you know you've offended people. Stop telling people they are broken and you can fix them for money. Aphantasia is not a defect, it's not a lie, and it's not people being too stupid to know what visualizing means.

Cheers for the Video! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about - Conabel Muscle Marmsome (probably on Google)? It is a great exclusive product for learning how to memorise anything minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my coo-worker at last got amazing success with it.

I know, that this video is old, but you said something completely inaccurate in your examples. If two paleolithic men or women and one of them knows what the berry tastes like or smells like, they are more likely to pass down their genes. That is true, but their genes are in your example of no importance for the upcoming generation. Here we are talking about memory and if that mans (or womans) child smelled the berry or tasted it he wouldn't know that it is the poisonous berry his mom or dad almost died to. same goes for geographical memory.
