Interesting! The first "hyper-Calvinist" that crossed my mind was the medieval benedictine monk Gottschalk of Orbais, who preached predestination in a town in Italy and pleaded with the crowd to pray for milder punishments in hell, if they by chance are not of the elect.

Logically consistent Calvinism.

Are we all Hyper Calvinist in some sense if we believe babies who die in the womb or outside the womb go straight to Heaven without ever hearing or understanding the "well meant offer?"

Wouldn't we say God saves these little ones based on His mercy alone?
