Hey friends,

Hope you're all having a great week! Today, I'm super excited to share my latest video with you, where I'll be taking you along to one of my gym sessions. Now, I've never been a huge fan of the gym, but lately, I've been switching things up and hitting those weights. And let me tell you, since I've started lifting heavier, I've really noticed a difference in my strength. It's not just about feeling stronger either; it's actually had a positive effect on my hormones. If you're interested, maybe I could dive deeper into that in another video?

Now, let's get into my post workout meal. I'm cooking up a delicious recipe from my app, Soul Sync Body. You can find a whole playlist there filled with quick, easy, and healthy recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Each recipe comes with a handy video tutorial and all the ingredients listed (plus macros if you're into that).

If you want to join me on Soul Sync Body for my workouts, recipes, and meal plans, I've got a special treat for my YouTube community. For the first time ever, I'm offering a 20% discount on the annual membership, just for you guys! This offer is only valid until the end of March. Just use the code SSBYOUTUBE at checkout.

You can kick things off with a 7-day free trial, and remember, you can cancel anytime before it ends.

Big hugs Sanne!

I've been trying to encourage my mother to workout more and one of my points was to start slow. This is a trick I learnt from Atomic Habits. I think we've been taught that you have to workout for an hour to see results, but to build a habit you can start by doing 5-10 minutes on a treadmill consistently for a few days. Often times we will realize 10 minutes is too short and we can do more, but putting less pressure on ourselves builds motivation to do more and consistency.

I've been really enjoying my workouts at home and I walk/jog 6 days a week. Your workouts have helped me so much appreciate your wonderful tips and exercise ideas. I've lost almost 7kg and feeling so much better in my body.

Last year you got me into using heavier arm weights and I noticed that I can now carry a heavy handbasket at the store without feeling like I’m tearing my shoulder joint out of its socket!

Also, I’ve noticed that it took about 3 months of occasional arm workouts (I only do it once per week, if that) I’m starting to see definition in my arms. It wasn’t how much I lifted—I only lift 5-8lbs, but the period of time that my muscles had been exposed to strength exercises. Sort of a muscle memory creation. I feel like that isn’t something I’ve ever heard regarding muscle building. But it’s similar to how the brain will become more efficient doing something over time, even if it isn’t done regularly.

I loved this video, I like how you talked about honoring your body and knowing when you feel genuinely tired or just not wanting to do the workout.

Just watched another vlog of you (one this morning) and loved this one as well. The quality of your vlogs has changed sooo much over the years, it's way more professional now, but also more personal. And all the food looks AMAZING! Keep up the great work Sanne! <3

Sanne thank you again for another uplifting video ♥️ I loved the workout you did; and really valued what you said about engaging the core and performing slow controlled movements.

Your post meal looked absolutely amazing 😊

And I really took in when you spoke on lowering cortisol levels and getting enough rest/sleep as well.

So I basically enjoyed the entire video lol :)

Thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻

I agree, feeling and looking strong as a woman is beautiful and also so fun! There are so many outdoor activities you can enjoy when you have done the work to strengthen your upper body. You should try sea kayaking!

I have a rice cooker. Coffee make, and Hot water kettle, and a 12-inch skillet are 5 things I recommend everybody get. I have an air-fryer too.
