I just started driving for extra money and last night I ended up in the middle of a corn field following that little "hotspot" icon! Thank you for teaching me something new!

Normally it means there is a no tip order there that nobody has picked up yet

The black hotspot flame icon means that orders have come from that area previously. Correct.

However, The red hexagons around the hotspot means that those are orders that are sitting there that haven't been picked up yet. Each hexagon represents about two deliveries that haven't been picked up yet.

Conclusion. For the most part, Don't travel towards hotspots. But do travel towards hot spots if they have the red hexagon blocks around them. Most of the time when I touch a red hexagon hotspot block I get a delivery instantly.

I like to sit near but not in those areas. I have noticed proximity to locations effects your offer. So the person next to the restaurant probably will get a lower offer than some one a few blocks away! Every penny counts when you hustling

When you log in before you " Dash Now ", the screen shows zones in gray which may be busy maybe not ; the pink and red zones basically means there are more orders than drivers to cover it. Once you " Dash Now" ; you will not see the pink and red. What you will see is the octagons as he just described.

It definitely helps going to hot spots tho, I’ve show up to spots after not getting orders from another hot spots and after a minute or two I’ll get orders !

Same thing about the map showing “busy” in red! No guarantee orders will come in. If they do, they are typically $2 for 10 miles!

Proximity to the restaurant that needs a driver is key, not the hot zone.This is a good video👍

I... Did not know that. This is my 3rd day now and this whole time, I thought that you will get more orders if you were in those hotspots. Thanks for the advice!

That's where everyone is rushing to ....I would rather park in the areas between that have restaurants

I'm new and always go to the hotspots, and always get an order before or after getting there. Have never gotten an order before being on my way to going to one.

In my area at least if I don’t go to the hotspots then the orders will be asf drives for little pay

Find a good safe place to park and wait for an order. After sitting for 15 minutes if nothing, move towards another safe parking spot. Maybe when you move something will show up maybe not. Don't waiste your gas traveling around chasing orders. Just FYI.
