thanks for the tip on filtering out regions when going to schedule shifts.. I only ever choose from 4 different areas and I had like a 100 listed when going to schedule.. This was an awesome tip. Thanks Dude

The only problem I've seen with peek pay (in los angeles and san francisco markets) is that the time feels ridiculous. It's often "$2.50 from 11:30pm - 1:29am" or "$3 from 1:30am to 3:29am", which is great in general compared to markets that don't have any promos but I also like sleeping at a respectable time haha

Another tip- coming from a deliver driver from pizza company’s, manager’s and drivers tend to request a DoorDash when they feel the tip is too low, no tip, or a problematic customer. Avoiding company’s like Pizza Hut, little caesers and dominos will weed out low paying orders.

The in app navigation is alright but I find sometimes it wants you make you take a loop around a few blocks to go somewhere that's just behind you etc.

Peak pay nowadays just means you'll make less money than you would normally. So many dashers chase peak pay, which ends up defeating the purpose of getting extra money. It doesn't really benefit us as much as it does Door Dash itself.

Also I'm learning that unless it's a time of day when a lot of food orders are coming in (like Friday evenings) turning off shop & deliver orders causes you to get much less orders similar to how it is if you have a low AR. It's as if it marginalizes you for making a choice that it gives you but doesn't want you to choose. Ebt doesnt have shop & deliver orders either and so that's part of the problem too. The orders are thinned out by all the different options.

My DD tips are always way higher than my DD pay at the end of each day! I try to do some no tip orders; but I think there should be a limit; as to how many you have to accept, before it hurts your acceptance rate; especially if you've reached Platinum status. Let's say, I'll do like 3 no tip orders per day; I'd accept that, but I shouldn't have to accept every single one they send me, as Platinum they shouldn't even be sending very many of those.

The peak pay hours in Detroit are at ridiculous time periods!! 11:30p - 3a!?!! Really!! 😤 also i unverified my pizza 🍕 bag 🤷🏽‍♀️ I was only getting low pay Little Ceasers orders!!

If they have like the bonus pay where it's extra two dollars or dollar in an area, all they do is give you a lower offer and then add the dollar on

You should still schedule yourself even if you’re a top dasher. When door dash is deciding who to send orders too they send orders to people who scheduled themselves

interesting that your layout is different than mine. I just reinstalled the app last night too and its definetley not the same layout. for example there is no account data or vehicle managemet or profile to name a few on that screen at the end of your video in my app. I also dont have that menu at the bottom. Maybe you use Iphone and its different layout?
