The problem is everybody is giving an opinion from city by city basis...

I live in Alabama and the wait to drop off ratio is slim and most places you go have the food ready and there is barely any traffic 7 days a week. People tip alot too

I just did my first day yesterday. I took my husband and two sons with me. We made it fun and got to see areas of the city that we’ve never seen before. Just being able to take my family is worth the money alone. There aren’t a lot of jobs that give you the freedom and family time like that. My husband is a truck driver and makes $1500 a week and then on the weekends, we all DD as a family.

My only complaint is people that order from places that are 4+ miles away from you. That shouldn't be allowed.

You also have to target a combination of busy areas and busy times. I started out doing Uber Eats, but do 95% Uber X and XL. It’s all about location and times to go out. This applies to both types of services

I make 30 an hour 9 times out of ten. Go during peak hours amd don't go for less than 2 dollars a mile with 7.50 minimum per trip

Exactly why I stopped. That bullshit. When the ad says. 23 a hour. I went 30 minutes out of my way for 1 hashbrown at 8am and only make 3 bucks. And that went to gas.

Thank goodness you brought this up! Truly, investing has changed my perspective on how one can succeed in life; working multiple jobs isn't the optimal way to attain financial freedom and unfortunately, we discover this later in life. That’s not really someone actually serious about being a Doordash driver. There is a learning curve as with any job. These articules are just people trying to make Doordash look like a scam

I make 65 to 100 dollars a day and that's about 4 hours on a full day 188 dollars you got to put in the time to make it

Drunk people are the best tippers I delivered McDonald's that was 0.3 miles from the McDonald's they tip me 15 bucks so I made $18 for the delivery it only took me 10 minutes
