I'd decline, while payout to mile ratio isn't bad, ya gotta think about the return trip.

With my cars gas mileage it costs .17 cents to drive every mile. So that’s $33 worth of gas for $200 bucks. Total is $170 bucks profit for maybe 3-4 hours of driving. Highway miles mostly meaning less wear and tear on engine also. That’s close to $40 per hour. Yea I’ll take it. I’m also Asian so this calculation happened in my head in .0034 seconds while drinking coffee and making a left hand turn while accepting with offer. (Insert Bruce Lee sound)

You lose more $$$ accepting these rides if you plan to come back to the starting point, now if you won't be returning back to the starting point, take it and work the new area. Also when it becomes more about package delivery which is a 'touch' service, Doordash doesn't properly compensate for this service. Even the mileage on your car to do deliveries should be for inner cities $1.50 within a 10-mile radius and $2.00 beyond that. Picking up packages is a entirely different service. Doordash exploits is own platform at the expense of its drivers. That trip should have been at least $256 total. That amount would have cover the driver's cost to come back to start up point. They didn't factor in traffic conditions, environmental dropoff conditions i.e third floor, swamp lands and personal conditions either. Just have to know what you want to do with this.

Some days I spend 10 to 12 hours to make $200 driving 200 miles that's not bad... If the freeways are clear you'll be finished and back home in 6 hours

They need to put a limited radius for ordering.

That’s about $150 after gas. A 3 hour trip. That’s about $50 an hour

Decline immediately!!! It'd have to pay at least $250+ in order for me to accept! It's a mind-game with some of these orders & if you don't know a thing or two about delivery, you'll fall for alot of VERY BAD ORDERS!!! l still can't believe there're folks who take $3-$4.50 orders!!!

Myself personally NO! HELL NO! i wouldn't take that order because the one thing i learned from doing food deliveries the more dropoff locations the more pain in the ass it is delivering them. Another flag in an order i will not take is if it's got to be delivered at a certain time if I'm delivering food nobody is gonna rush me I'll get there when i get there. Which isn't long because i don't take orders that are 128 miles away will never be that much wear and tear on my vehicle delivering food.
