Does The Anxious Attachment Style Push People Away?

I’m going to be frank.

If you ended up on this video whether through searching on Google or just browsing my website then you probably already know the answer (or have a strong suspicion about the answer.)

But to remove any doubt here’s what I think about the anxious attachment style actually pushing someone away.

Yes, someone with an anxious attachment style will often push others away due to their constant need for reassurance, attention, and fear of abandonment. This pressure and unpredictability usually causes others to withdraw, as they seek to avoid the emotional intensity and turbulence. Ironically the story of relationships for an anxious attachment style is one of a self-fulfilling prophecy where the feared rejection or abandonment continually becomes reality.

But there are a few things that videos like this don’t talk about that I would like to.

I can get anxious sometimes, but not sure if i'm an anxious attachment style.
I attach quickly, but also detaches quickly.
If someone pushes me away repeatedly, by the second or third time i will certainly also push them away by leaving.

If you are an Anxious and your partner/ex is a Fearful, and they pulled back because they lost faith that they would be able to be enough to make you trust them and commit to them, does pulling back or going no contact make their anxiety towards you worse?

my no contact ended after i ended up in the ER. so about three weeks. he texts and calls sometimes and wants to meet for coffee. he wants me to chose being friends or not being there at all. im not entirely sure what to say or decide.

My ex was writing with me alot. Watched almost all my stories. Said he feels like we are connected. Shared some personal details about himself. Was warm. Then he said I should tell him if I want to have sex. I was very stupid and I went to him. Had sex. And after that he said I better go home. I left but made sort of a scene, said it's not ok. After that he didn't answer my message. And hasn't watched my stories since. I am devastated.

im anxious but my ex is secure AF. its so irritating, cus hes got so many friends to keep busy, and he knows his worth. he broke up with me, cus of something i did. (not cheating) but hes extremely hurt. he said we can still talk and be friends but i dont wanna be friends i wanna be his gf agian.
