Rotten-Renters

The plaintiff rented his house to the defendants, and he’s suing them for unpaid rent and fees he claims they owe him. The defendants say they have no idea why the plaintiff is suing them because they did everything by the book when they moved out of the home, including giving the plaintiff 30 days’ notice.

That was the cleanest place left I have ever seen on this show. And he knew they had dogs by his quivering voice as he lied. Real piece of work. It's a shame they didn't give 30 days notice. Hope they are happy else where.

I'm so impressed with how they left that place... First case I've seen where it really was left in great shape! I wish they had given 30 days notice because I believe it was the plaintiffs dogs who did it.. Dang.. But the defendants seemed honest so that good karma will come back around...

Yes the dogs chewed the wood. I have an American bulldog and when he was a puppy he chewed my entire door frame😩😩😩 this is one of the cleanest place I have ever seen from a tenant that moved out.

Defendants left that place clean. They just goofed on that 30 day notice. Too bad.

He should have written up that pet deposit!

He waved the pet fee only with the understanding they would have to pay for any and all damages due to the pet.

You can tell the defendant doesn’t watch this show because he was SHOCKED when they called them rotten renters in the beginning 😂

Defendants: We're happy to be in court
Judge MM: Verdict for the Plantiff
Me: Wonder if the Defendants were still happy?

I applaud the defendants!! That was the CLEANEST I have ever seen someone leave a home on this show!! It looks like they were about to move in it was so clean!! Plaintiff seems off and seems greedy!! Why take pictures MONTHS after they move out!? Then to say "I didn't go out back until then...." is a big red flag!! I don't blame the defendants for moving because his and his mom was a little much and what if it happened again and he wanted his house back!? I think they shouldn't have to pay November because of that!!

I think a lot of people get confused as to what '30 days notice' really means, it sounds like you leave exactly 30 days after giving notice and you pay pro-rata for the days lived in the new month, but in reality it means you have to give 30 days notice but you pay until the end of the next calendar month and you leave on the last day of that month...

OK WELL THESE RENTERS SURPRISED ME FOR THE MOST PT THE PLACE LOOKED CLEAN ALTHOUGH I WOULD'VE WANTED TO SEE THE ENTIRE PLACE INCLUDING THE FLOORING BUT IT MUST'VE BEEN OK SEEING THAT THE PLAINTIFF WASN'T COMPLAINING BUT THE ISSUES THAT THE PLAINTIFF IS HAVING W/ HIM MOTHER LEADS TOO BELIEVE HE'S SOME HOW "EXTRA NEEDS" BUT HIS HOME LOOKS & SOUNDS PLEASANT GLAD HE WON GOOD CALL SEEM TO BE DECENT FOLKS ACROSS THE BOARD

Many slumlords will find any excuse not to pay the deposit back in full. Always take pictures before you leave. And take pictures when there is a problem that does not get repaired. And never wait on a plumbing issue. And always give a 30 day notice.

I hate listening to the judge's simp of a husband speak at the end. He's worse than Harvey.

Did I hear correctly that the plaintiff was trying to get internet set up at the house before the defendants gave notice?

Ugh, yet another rent/security deposit case. There have got to be more interesting lawsuits than this.

But how refreshing to see decent, reasonable litigants who simply disagree and aren't attempting to annihilate one another.
