The plaintiff rented an apartment to the defendant, and it turned into a disaster. He kicked the defendant out because she stopped paying rent. He says the defendant left the place a total mess, so he’s suing for damages, eviction fees, unpaid rent. The defendant claims she doesn’t owe because she believes it was a ploy to have a family member move in instead.
