No carbs no sugar for the last 4 months. Lost 30lb. Just back from eating out with family after lockdown. Had meat, plenty of greens and 1 chocolate eclair. Now back home. On the toilet every 10 is POISON

For me, losing fifty pounds in the last six months has really been about portion control. No more sugary drinks, and have reduced carbohydrate intake by at least fifty percent. For example, in the past, I would have 2 large slices of meatloaf and 2 large scoops of mashed potatoes and a salad + a reg Pepsi. This was often an average evening meal for me I would often times have seconds. Today? Now I would have one small piece of the meat loaf. A very small scoop of mashed potatoes, no bread, no desserts, 1 small salad. Water, tea, or diet drink. It took me a month to get used to eating smaller portions - and now i'm completely satisfied with a small meal. Only on special occasions or when visiting relatives - I might have a piece of cake or some chips and dip, but it is rare.

Interesting video. Yeah, not all weight loss programs work for everyone. In August 2020 I was overweight (253 pounds), tired (I napped two hours every day) and after several eye surgeries I can't do strenuous workouts. I started doing calisthenics, just fifteen minutes a day. By November 2020 I added a second workout daily. By Christmas I added half pound weights (one in each hand). Starting this past June I skipped eating one day a week. No food for twenty four hours. I feel this helps clean me out. I feel swell and now weigh 195 pounds. I'm seventy now and will try to exercise every day. I only missed one workout since August 2020. My goal is 180-ish pounds. So freakin' sweet to fit into smaller size clothes. I no longer look like two pounds of baloney in a one pound bag. Find what works best for you and please see your P.C. prior to exercising. Do it smart and safely.

That's why I want to lose weight, also I feel better & my clothes fit better. I only drink black coffee & water. A Miller Lite once every two to 3 months. 😃❣️❤️

I'm diabetic I only sleep about 4_ 5 hrs a nite my glucose is always in the 80s and 90s I'm 73 yrs old

The keto diet and OMAD absolutely torches the fat and makes you feel quite good (if you don't just smash the artifical sweeteners, which many ppl do) once you get used to feeling hungry

another name for diet is portion control, just learn what a serving of everything you want to eat is and eat that much, for example you want some crackers, eat 16 usually, put them in a bowl and eat them, don't eat them out of the box cause you will over eat, you will learn these tricks like you learned how to ride a bike or swim, also a piece of meat is the size of a deck of cards not what they serve you at Outback, again just put in the effort to learn that

Love this guy, his vids have helped me lose 44 lbs and easily keep it off. I am, however, curious about his remark regarding cream in coffee. He sounds like several cups (with added cream) is a bad thing and I’m unsure why. Real cream (“whipping cream”) is zero carb. I go through a quart per week of the stuff myself and yet I’ve effortlessly maintained my goal weight (in fact, I’m now trying to gain some lean mass!) and my lipids look great (for a low-carber, meaning excellent HDL and trigs but slightly elevated LDL).
