Please remember that counting calories is also a dangerous business if you have a history of eating disorders because it's easy to become obsessive over eating less and less calories each day. Or obsess over burning more calories than you eat. Calories are very good for you when they are from healthy foods! Your body needs it's recommended amount of calories each and every day in order to provide you the energy to live healthily. :)

OMG I swear everyone says different things. Some youtubers and scientists say that skipping breakfast is good because of fasting and all and then I see this and the first thing is dont skip breakfast. So many mixed sygnals lol.

I used to be really fat. I was on the verge of developing serious health conditions. I remember not being able to tie my shoelaces and my sleep suffered as well. My life changed when I finally set my mind to the thinking that anything is possible if you decide so. I took a meal plan to start with. I created it online, on dietarize, which was super helpful to me. I didn't have to worry about calories, macros, nutrients and all that stuff, I just focused on walking long distances and exercising after I got on a level where I could do some simple workouts. I hope my story will inspire you to do the same. To change your body you must first change your mind!

How come if I have no breakfast at 9am, I feel hungry around 1pm yet if I have breakfast at 9am then I feel hungry around 11am?

"count your calories"
*laughs in anorexia*

p.s. After a long while I have almost recovered completely from my ed. It took more than a year but I am now eating healthily and I barely give into temptations to relapse or purge. Everything about my life has improved it's really cool 🤠. Starving is really not the best way to go, I can assure you of that.

counting calories is so draining and can lead to ED’s. I was always told to eat what i like at moderation and work out and it helped

I would highly recommend staying away from "low fat" foods as they usually have added sugar which completely negates it's dietary advantage.

I don’t recommend counting calories. It can easily become obsessive and they aren’t necessarily indicative of how good a food is for you. Keeping a journal of everything you eat is still a good idea as you have a good overview of what is wrong with your diet and if you’re on the path to fixing it.
