Do people in parts of the world who live the longest have smoothies for breakfast? Smoothies are for people in a rush, and who probably don't digest their food well. Sit down, chew your food, enjoy it, have some conversation and have a healthier life. That's what I do as a very healthy and happy 80 year old.

Beef collagen/ hotwater with a big knob of butter and a splash of heavy cream for my "coffee" at 7am and then real breafast is at 2pm. 200g lamb neck fillet sauteed in butter followed by a 300g 20% fat grass fed beef burger. That does me until dinner! 👍

If you're trying to be fit and gain lean muscle, little bit of protein is NOT actually the key. Lot of protein keeps you full and satisfied and helps you gain or maintain muscle .

For my breakfast, I enjoy a combination of fatty proteins and medium-glycemic index carbohydrates, for the optimal balance that an active man needs to grow his muscles. In other words, 4 eggs, 4 strips of bacon, and 4 pints of Pabst is actually the optimal breakfast for the developing male.
