It's such a healthy way of making children aware of themselves. Never seen this aspect of education before. Yay we're progressing!!

I love how your voice pitch increases when you talk to her directly haha such great video especially for all the parents out there who are struggling to explain the current situation and related emotions to their kids

I loved this. I would like more videos on how to talk about stuff to children. I have a 3 year old and I want to make sure he has a good opportunity to develope healthy relationships with emotions and mental health in general. I would like your advice on how to have conversations with children about your own mental illnesses, how they effect you and how it effects the child.

I loved this video, and I’d be interested in more like this: explaining or demonstrating how to talk to kids about various tricky topics.

This is so important! I still repeat this things with my disabled and a little autistic child after more than 20 years.

It's so important to recognize your own feelings so you can say YES or NO instead of screaming and hitting.

And it's very important to recognize feelings in others - and to ask them directly what they are feeling if you can't recognize their emotion.

Thank you for this very sweet collab of two specialists!😷🤗😷

Thank you so much.
Sometimes you really have to remind yourself to take one step after another and not focus on the "if"!
I've recommended your vids to my friends, we're med students from Germany and many of us are quite tense right now.

Hey,

Firstly, thank you for making this video. Yet again, i will take onboard some of the wording you have used as it just makes sense!

I teach 4-5yr olds and I have worked really hard this year to develop their emotional vocabulary and understanding. I use the zones of regulation combined with the characters from inside out. Well used - but a wonderful visual and talking piece. The children also use the wheel of choice to help process/safely sit with these emotions before talking to an adult about them where necessary.

This lockdown has reinforced how important this part of their education is. My students parents tell me the children are able to tell them how they are feeling, why and then choose a way to process them/allow them to sit with them. I think some of my parents are learning something from their children along the way!

Keeping sharing your knowledge. You are making a difference.

She’s so cute! She doesn’t look sad, afraid, or depressed - but she’s a very good sport.
