Great help, thank you! Am a mum trying to figure stuff out on my own and the last time I looked inside a toilet cistern it had an old-fashioned ballcock, so seeing this flummoxed me. One minute after watching your video I fixed my toilet by myself - saved money and got a real sense of achievement!

Really appreciate this. Had a crap year with things going catastrophically wrong with the house, so these How To videos really help with the little jobs. Thanks for the money saver.

Thanks for that info. A quick squirt of Domestos (or equivalent) around the bowl would clean it up.

Just followed your video and fixed it! I think it's by greatest fixing achievement of all time and for that I thank you.

Thanks a lot! My toilet has been doing this God knows how long. I've known about it for at least 4 weeks at least.
Problem solved now. Just a mucky washer. Saved me lots of £££s!

My loo has been running with water for some time and I found your video and managed to sort my Delavit toilet. The seal did have 2 nodules on it which seem to be stopping it sealing. I turned it round and it sealed like a dream and I have now done my first plumbing job. Thank you so much for the informative video - I love you x

Hello tina, I have another video listed which shows what to do if it is the ballvalve jamming against the side of the cistern or it may be worn and want renewing, try holding up the arm and see if it is letting by .

Thanks! Manage to fix my loo after taking out the water inlet part incase any seals had gone but was working fine. This part had became loose for some reason, but took it out anyway and gave the washer a rinse! Working perfectly now. Thanks again 👍

Thanks for the video, very helpful. Now I know why my water bill quadrupled! Couldn't get the big white screw back in afterwards but everything else is working. Does it matter about the screw?
