What is a Vulnerable Narcissist and is it actually a helpful description? What behaviours are exhibited and how do they manifest, in what form and across which sub schools of narcissist. Obtain detailed understanding of this use of "vulnerable" so you are forewarned.

This is exactly where I struggled in understanding if he was Indeed a narcissist. Two years of confusion for me due to always coming across as somewhat fragile. But then also displaying NPD traits. middle range. The facade was so good he really should get a Oscar... The irony is he is a screenwriter. Thank you HG Tudor.

I am almost certain I was dating a narcissist he behaved in all of the manners you speak on. I was walking on egg shells with him from day one. The upper mid ranger narcissist is really difficult to spot due to their vulnerable behaviors and their "much wider manipulative palette". They are "haughty and dismissive" but only after one is attached and the narcissist is now in the devaluation stage. My former best friend I believe is an upper mid range covert narcissist and I felt something was wrong but it was not until I started viewing your videos that I figured her out. She has high cognitive ability and can express cognitive empathy but has no emotional empathy. She pretended to be emotional empathetic during the love bombing stage because she needed my assistance and my friendship. She has the facade of the successful, well educated, highly intelligent single divorced Mum who was married to malignant narcissist. However, she is extremely manipulative and knows how to get her way by painting herself as the perpetual victim and devoted Mum..

The fake vulnerability, fake neuroticism & advertised incompetence is nausea-inducing. The facade is tissue paper thin. The antagonism is just below the surface. At least from the useless lower mid-ranger that I used to know.

This is my coworker. She spends all day everyday asking options and monopolizing coworkers time asking for feedback suggestions, which are never heeded. She captures attention by saying she doesn't want attention. She 50 years old never moving out her mid-level position and delusional non- existant friendships. She does her job well and for that transaction I dole out my attention a few times a week- 20-30 mins increments- (I cut it off when I am done not when she is) and keep it moving. I always seem to have to go to the rest room when she and I chat😉 Knew she had a personality disorder from early on. However, being savvy about one (or even some) narc traits didn't save me from meeting the narc that brought me here though.
