He slanders me to people so he's the victim. I'm mentally ill and abusive and he just sacrifices for me....in reality HE is the one trying to scramble my brain

I didn't realize that my roommate was a narc until I asked him to leave after three years. I thought he was an introvert. He was lazy and had no concern for his hygiene. I never saw him brush his teeth. He may have showered once a week.

I like your take very much! I've been listening to a lot of the famous Doctors like Dr. Grande and Dr. Ramani and they offer great insights on this personality disorder, but I feel that what you said in this video described me perfectly. I'm trying to gather the pieces of this disorder and understand the patterns better so I know how to battle these thoughts.

Thank you, and keep up the great work!

It would be good to have more conversation on subtle narcissism traits and/or behavior in professionals like counselors or psychologists.

I commented a similar thing on one of your other videos by mine was a vulnerable narcissist (I thought covert was synonymous with vulnerable) but his claim to fame was that he "owned his shit" when no one else (including myself) did. He used to love something Martin Luther quoted "if you're going to sin, sin boldly" and the Bible "He has imprisoned us all to unrighteous " when he cheated on me with the neighbor lady he came home the next morning and told me right away, so that he could be like "🤷 well, at least I'm honest to a fault."

Yes he hates social events. Social interaction other than his job was difficult for him. Very assertive at his job though as the 'role ' he played there he was comfortable with

Something that bothered me was this person didn't fit any specific boxes Until you gave this description Now it all makes sense this is who she is she hides it very well and she has that shy innocent appeal that suckers everyone

They may take a lot of selfies but not share them online. I once saw my ex/hoovers photos on her phone. Wow.

Oh man 😔 I am so sad. This is all 100% my astranged Husband. Will he ever know happiness? He has been doing some attachment style healing but it sounds like there is still a lot of denial. It's so sad to me. his mom made him like this. Its not right

How can I make his life miserable enough that he leaves? I can't leave, it's MY house

Anybody watching this because they are one ... a vulnerable narcissist?

interesting that they will actually get uncomfortable with attention that is too over the top or strong compliments but also is hiding a smile simultaniously

Let’s say you’re on a trip with a group. You forget your toothpaste. You don’t want to ask to use someone else’s toothpaste because you don’t want people to think that you messed up or left something, so you go without for the entire trip. Your daughter is with you and you won’t let her ask to use someone’s toothpaste. Your daughter can’t stand it and she asks discreetly to someone if she could use theirs and they let them. She’s too scared to say something because you’ll get really angry or really upset with her the entire trip.
Then you make it her fault because you start crying or say things that make her feel bad.
Is that vulnerable narcissism?

If a person drops a wallet, and me not being much of a runner call out to the person that dropped it, does that make me a narcissist? come on.

I have so many questions now. Just when I think I understand, more come up. I get it but I don’t. I see it but then I don’t. 😅
