I am reading the BFG by Roald Dahl. I find it interesting and gripping. However, I have read some articles that said those books are only appropriate for fun reading, not for IELTS and it won't help me with the academic reading. I am not interested in academic reading cause it is long and difficult to understand. Should I continue reading my favorite book or reading some news, articles to help me with IELTS?🤔
