What Is Change Management In Project Management Terms?

It's the management of change to do with with the triple constraint.

Watch our expert explain. Change management, by definition is about changing, modifying or transforming organizations in order to maintain or improve their effectiveness. It is also a subset of project management.

Drilling down further we find that the change management plan is a subset of the project management plan and is used to outline the change management process - a process that determines the who, when, what, how are we going to manage the changes on the project.

I think this is quite a misleading approach; CM itself is much more than change requests. CM is more the people side of the project; it looks into how ppl are going to be impacted; how, when, it what form, by whom, in what frequency information should be communicated; how to make a change stick; how to deal with resistance... and so much more....

Not sure why they chose this woman to do these videos, but they seriously need to reconsider their choice. Poor speaker or just poorly planned, this is hard to follow and listen to.
