HEALTHY AND EASY SWEET TREATS & DESSERTS | Quick, low calorie & weight loss!
Hey guys! Welcome back to another video!! Today I'm bringing you another edition of some healthy and easy sweet treats. As you know, I absolutely LOVE baking but I'm trying to be super good and stay clear from anything "too" naughty at the moment so I thought I would try out some low calorie/guilt free sweet treat alternatives today! Hope you enjoy xx
Protein Cookies
1/4 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of unsalted butter
1 large Egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup oats - 1/2 cup oat flour - blend in processor and 1/2 cup normal oats.
16g chocolate chips of your choice!
*Bake at 160c for about 8-10 minutes - I took mine out at about 8.
Chocolate Brownies
Original recipe but i've adapted slightly so see below for what I used:
3/4 cup Mashed sweet potato
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup Cocoa Powder or cacao powder
1 cup light brown sugar or coconut sugar
1/3 cup of plan flour - add extra flour if you don't want them to be as gooey and fudgy inside. I added 1/4 cup more of plain flour!
1 TSP baking powder
1 TSP vanilla extract
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
*Bake at 160 for 35-40 mins.
Banana and Peanut Butter Muffins
3 large ripe bananas
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
4 tablespoons honey
1/2 tablespoon oat milk (or whichever milk you'd like to use!)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon *optional
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 oat flour - *use a blended to make your oats into oat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips and some to sprinkle on top
Bake for 20-25 mins - 160c.
