Can you last 30 seconds under a cold shower? Or 2 hours under the scorching sun in the summer?

What do you prefer? ☀ ❄

“We investigated this issue carefully and discovered that top scientists have learned that sweat consists mainly of water”

Surviving the cold: you will need to undertake years of intense meditation and slowly ease into colder and colder conditions.
Surviving the heat: lol just drink water

Simple: Just turn the shower all the way to the cold side...

My advice when in extreme temperatures:
When in Heat: Be glad that you are not freezing to death.
When in Cold: Be glad that you are not sweating to death.
Both temperatures can be your best friend and your worst enemy for staying alive.

I've never heard of a more dangerous sentence like that ever.

I worked in the mines in South Africa as a mechatronics technician for 4 years and something they do during initial training is "Heat tollerance training". This is where they train your body to sweat quickly(even in high humidity, since development ends normaly uses a lot of water which increases the humidity, but the temperature remains at over 30°C and much much higher sometimes) to ensure your body remains functional under mining temperatures. This was something amazing to experience, but 6 years after leaving the mining industry my body still reacts the same way(even though the training only lasted 3 weeks). A temperature of 28°C will cause my body to start sweating a lot more than usual people, since this is what it was trained to do. So a little warning to all who want to attempt the things from this video. Your body will adapt and learn quickly, but unlearning these things seems like it takes forever. Thank you Infographics Show for all the great content and keep up the amazing work.

When I’m outside I’m rarely ever hot or cold but in bed it’s always too hot or too cold

I personally found that it's really really cold, if you just get past the first couple minutes, I get used to it and actually feel somewhat blissfully comfortable.

I have never complained of hot weather, and I think it’s in my genetics. I grew up in the UAE, and the temperature there can be 130 degrees Fahrenheit in a typical summer day. The fact that you need to hydrate is true though. I can easily drink 2 gallons of water on a hot day without even feeling that I have over hydrated myself. Also, wearing long sleeves and a hat and exposing less skin helps you by lessening your exposure to the sun, which helps you stay cool.

I will try the tricks that can keep me hot in the cold because I always have a hard time adjusting to the cold weather. I see white people tolerate the cold well while I can have numbness in my limbs by staying for 30 min outside when its 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

That relatable description of waking up on a cold morning in the beginning of the video was an instant like from me.

In hot weather there is a point (especially under heavy load) where you sweat more than you can intake. You can be dehydrated (dry throat, skin, headache...) while there are two liters of water in your stomach. At this point it's better to pour the water on yourself rather than drinking it. As a semi-pro cyclist I have experienced this sometimes. Also I can confirm that drinking isotonic drinks helps you a lot! You can absorb more liquid that way than your body would normally do.

I can endure heat perfectly, I ran 10 km every day in 35-40° celsius and it felt great. But tempertures under 15° celsius affect me so hard, my hand are especially cold to do point of hurting. Unfortunatly I live in Croatia where we get both extremes (-15 to +40).
