Although these are great points and work well for most people, if you meet in the middle of the two examples by slightly leaning forward while going slow you really get an insane back pump

That was GREAT!! Ive been going to gyms on and off since 1984 and truth be told, NOBODY has ever explained how or why to do this exercise, I just did them because everybody else did them on ''back day''. Really good video!!

Whenever using machines, try to focus on brain muscle connection. As in feeling the muscle u r using. This helps in actually getting to know how much stress it can handle before failure

Thanks man, I also notice that when I am near failure, I just lose control of my movement and pull the thing all the way up to the chest position

Actually the stretching one is better if you control the speed other than swinging your back

pro tip try to push your shoulders down while pulling to activate ur lats even more
