I was always told to never flare out the arms, to keep the more at a 45 degree angle to your bold.

My shoulder is throbbing with pain just from trying this with no weight. My elbows need to be in line with the scapular plane. I find it very confusing that this is the only demo from RP on this exercise.

If we flare out the arms then it will exercise the middle delts, if it close grip it will target the frontal delt, right ?

Wait, do you don't stop halfway through your rep? That's crazy. Some fool tried to convince me that I should stop at a 90 degree angle instead of reaching a full stretch position, leaving it there for a sec, and then going back up.

what are your thoughts on doing them standing versus sitting? Any rationale on the benefits or risks of each? I've seen some videos saying standing is helpful if you can do it to force the core and other stabilizing muscles to work. I've seen some that say sitting restricts the shoulder blades and on a long upright bench allows the neck and traps to be engaged unnecessarily. But of course, sitting seems to mitigate the weak links in the chain of my core and back allowing more load on the shoulders.

His arms are flared out too much, he needs to bring the elbows in and towards the front. Seriously you guys should take this video down this is how people injure themselves

What rep ranges would you recommend for this movement? 6-12 or 10-16? Thanks.

Should you touch the shoulders I see a lot of videos recommending go to about ear level?

Sometimes i like to lock then clink them others is that really a sin? Its seems to increase the clevage line higher if i click them together. Do you have any thoughts?
