DEALING WITH EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS IN A CHRONIC ILLNESS JOURNEY | ENDOEMMM
Показать описание
Have you ever felt anxious, fearful, relieved, mad, happy, or frustrated in your chronic illness journey? I know I have 👋🏽 Dealing with my endometriosis journey, as well as my endometriosis symptoms and trying to navigate what works for my endometriosis pain management treatment, has caused a lot of emotions to bubble to the surface.
It’s okay to feel different emotions while dealing with a chronic illness. A chronic health diagnosis is complex, and so are the emotions and feelings that come along with it. Emotions in a chronic illness journey will have good days and bad days, ups and downs, but I want you to know that you’re not alone in the way that you’re feeling about it all.
Reach out to local resources when you need it or when you don’t feel like yourself in your journey. There is no shame in asking for support when you’re dealing with a complex thing 🤍🌿
The Endometriosis Network of Canada is a great resource to find support / doctors / resources along the way.
Also, there are several Canadian mental health support links that you can refer to. I’ve provided the link down below:
