What monitor setup are you rocking right now?

I've owned this monitor for about six months and I can't imagine ever going back to a smaller monitor. I would only consider swapping it out if they made an OLED version. Having such an expansive canvas for all my windows while working is indispensable. It's like tech from the future.

Had this for a few months. Not as pretty as an OLED, but every time I walk in the room it brings a smile to my face.

It's also worth noting, if you connect a USB drive to the (SERVICE) port, and then connect the monitor to your PC using the USB B cable, the USB Drive gets connected to your PC. This allows you to just leave that USB connected to the PC, and when you need to flash the monitor, upload the newest firmware, and the monitor will read it. You mentioned a few times in your videos it's a pain to pull the cover and connect the USB drive. This way, you can just leave it plugged in.

I have a G9 too. Never going back. I am a programmer and I love videogames, soo, this monitor is great for both!

I just bought one of these based on your reviews of productivity and mild gaming. I also ordered the SecretLab's desk and mount (and chair). Thanks for sharing your experience with this, it's been a lot of help in deciding which direction to go.

Permanently connect a USB extension cable to the USB port at the rear used for firmware updates. That way anytime it requires a update, you just need to plug the USB drive into the extension cable hanging off the your monitor arm.

Me: (Looks at my 34" Alienware monitor, then looks at Pete's) Honey! Looks like we can't afford going to see your parents this year

This monitor is amazing for productivity. I thought the curve was going to be gimmicky, but it makes such a difference. The only issues I've had are related to the KVM switch. I have two computers connected and I will switch between split screen, computer 1 or computer 2. Sometimes when I try switching it drops both inputs and I have shut everything down and restart to get them to connect again.
With Zoom, you can create a custom sized window. That way you aren't locked to one app. Share Screen > Advanced Tab > Portion of Screen. Then drag the green box to what ever size you want. It will share anything in that window. It remembers the share size as well.

I have both the Odyssey Ark and 57" G9 and I have to say the Odyssey Ark is great for productivity. I find the real estate to be a lot more functional when using various spreadsheets with large data sets. I love using the G9 for live trading and stock analysis.

I bought the 57" Samsung Odyssey G9 about four months ago after doing a LOT of research (which included watching your review several times). At this point, I can't imagine using anything else. Sure, OLED would be nice for gaming, but I don't mind the matte screen at all and you just can't beat this resolution for productivity and everyday use. The single issue I have is that although it sleeps and wakes seamlessly with my gaming PC and work laptop, it doesn't play nice with my older MacBook Pro.

the fact that there is a scale indicating tension makes me love the monitor arm from SL's

Been waiting for this. I'm build a PC with a rx 7900 xtx, and a 7800x3d; this monitor was number one on my list!

I bought the g9 Neo. Was so happy then they released the OLED version a few months later then this came out. Gutted. If they do release an OLED version of this then I may have to drop the credit card on it!! It is a stunning screen.

Talk about coincidence. I had just looked at this monitor on Amazon today just to see how much it was. Not that I'm in a position to buy it, but I just randomly thought about it. And I recalled your first review from last year.

My toxic trait is thinking I could just buy this and play games at max graphics using my gtx1080 and ryzen5 3600 💀
