I wish YouTube could be like this again, reviews by real people who bought and used stuff!

Great to see a knowledgeable reviewer who actually used the product.

A truly remarkable monitor. I'm glad you're enjoying it. You certainly need a beast to run it to its full potential though!

I’m using dual stacked 34” right now and this review helped me commit to the 57” life. Very interested to see where this goes!

Good to watch a review where someone is using & reviewing this monitor for more than just games.

I also work in a global multi national & in Excel alot - but, as I may potentially be taking early retirement soon, I need to put that kind of use in the future much lower down in the priority. This leaves me with the main use being to edit videos & photos. This monitor appeals very much for the video editing where you can see a long timeline...however, for photo editing, I am a little worried about the low % of gamut's that it covers. So i am currently trying to decide on buying the 57" now, or waiting 6-9 months to see if Samsung bring out a 57" OLED version, or, at least a 57" mini LED version with close to 100% gamuts. I've not had the OLED experience at all yet, so I don't really know what I am missing, but so many reviews comment that once you've tried OLED, you wont want to go back, which makes me feel like I don't want to blow the money on the 57" mini-LED & then wish I'd waited for the OLED version to come (if one comes). However, even if they introduce a 57" OLED version, there is a risk that it wont be so good for productivity/content creation use due to lack of text crispness & potentially, lack of resolution IF they introduce a 57" OLED with lower resolution - which they potentially might do to reduce the burden on the GPU for gaming use.

It's tricky to know what to do right

I use the same monitor and it seems you are using 100% scaling. I know I sound like like a weirdo for this but I struggle to use it below 150% scaling. I guess it's because my eyes are pretty bad but the pixel density is still obvious in photo editing and video editing, and especially games.

Using a 7900 XTX, which enables 240hz on this beast. Feels good hearing from another user of this seemingly rare monitor.

it is a good monitor, just bought it, but it isn't without problems. Colors are wash out sometimes, it is not good looking out of the box, though calibration + configuring it makes it fine.

Though I have weird diagonal lines on the right, they are barely visible, but can be visible, especially in HDR. Anyone also has them ? I am thinking to get it back, but it is nice to work using it, I am thinking just to forget about those lines.

Hey... what is the awesome color lighting and effects you are having around the monitor and desk? The colors and effects are amazing.

Very informative video. I'd suggest including the size of this monitor in your title.
Thanks very much for a very practical review.

Can you explain how you're getting full 8K resolution with a Mac? Explaining what's required or your settings etc. would be very helpful. Thanks!

Jsyk, you can only use the monitor at its full potential of 240 hz by using DisplayPort 2.1 which is only supported by the 7000 series AMD cards.

As someone having 3 49" in the past four years, it made me lose all hope in Samsung. From broken ports to cracked screens overtime, I would never recommend it for the money you pay. It worked really for work as stated by CTW, and the screen real estate you could use is really great for work environments (really loved it for work space more than gaming). But the massive issues for gaming were greater than the benefit. From the flickering to washed out colors. I ended up switching it over to the LG 45" OLED and it has been a huge upgrade so far with 0 issues. Great Review BTW!

Just got this monitor. My only gripe is I wish it had another display 2.1 port and a remote. I don't like the texture and placement of the menu controls, so I remote would've been a better option.

My hang-up is buying an OLED is the burn in & every time I turn on, it degraded the Pixel.

Waiting for them to make an OLED version of this
