Im super happy with my 49" Neo G9, Im doing mostly productivity work, sometimes gaming. Lets just say it would be very hard to get used to anything else, its that good. I will upgrade to 57" Neo in a year or two when I update my computer.

I don't think that the majority of the public that buys this monitor, will play that kind of games.... I see it more oriented to driving games or even strategy games or city-builders.

As an owner of a Neo G9, I was “in love” with it for the first 4 months. But gaming is a hassle with how finicky support for 32:9 can be. For productivity, especially for video editing, I enjoy it, but I still found myself looking back at my traditional 16:9 32”. The actual height of the monitor with how wide was aggravating. This 57” is what I wish I had, the extra height is exactly what I would want over my neo g9

I have this 57’ and the 49’ on my driving sim….. since I got it gaming has not been the same. I can never look backwards. I would never be able to use a regular monitor ever again. I love these Samsung monitors… if you don’t have one I greatly recommend that you do get one. It will change your gaming life for the better.

Fantastic Review, I really enjoyed it.

What made me a little nervous, is that I didn't have any protection to remove from the front of the screen, but did have some protection to remove of the back of the screen - which is weird.

I wonder if any fellow owners had the same packaging issues.... I'm nervous that my monitor isn't new....

(I'm now asking this question in pretty much all reviews / unboxing of the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57" - and might decide to send mine back!)

what is the size of your desk? and what distance would you recommend for this monitor when sitting in front of it? I guess one shouldn't sit too close to it.

How do yall get Mac y’all’s MacBooks to connect to these Samsung monitors without static lines….these monitors are amazing but I love my g9 just wish it worked better with my MacBook Pro

This monitor might be an absolute behemoth, but even if not used for gaming, it might be more suitable for NASA space centers and company control rooms.

Samsung G9's are very cool when the don't break, mine burned after few hours of use also happened few weeks earlier with the 49'' oled, real serious quality and reliability issues !!!
