Heart And Hips Practice - 26 min Hands Free Yoga Practice. This session invites you to find release and surrender to a FLOW state. Tend to tight shoulders and hips. Pay attention to how they are connected to your mental and emotional state.

Gain flexibility and stability on the mat so you can cultivate the same off the mat. Grab a small towel, necktie, pillowcase or yoga strap (if you have it) for this session and let's Find What Feels Good.

I woke up 2 hours before my alarm today, filled with negative thoughts. I battle chronic depression, and this morning was bad. Very bad. I snuck out of bed and quietly did this practice (so as not to wake my parter). It's still half an hour before the alarm, but I do feel a bit better. So many things have been taken away from me in this life, and it is very hard not to let that suck me into the quicksand. Yoga reminds me to take care of what I DO have, and that's me. I have me.

Repeating myself, but I’m a 62 year old somewhat overweight still. I have followed your yoga routine through “Home” and now your calendar recommendations, plus a few extra stretches if the calendar routine is short. I have participated for 46 days straight without a miss; my longest streak ever. I have begun to really notice the reduction in hip and back pain, plus a significant improvement in flexibility and movement. I find myself squatting to pick up something, pet my dogs, etc rather than bending. My arm and leg strength are noticeably improved.

I think I’m almost hooked, where I can’t envision missing a morning session even when traveling.

Thank you so much for being so engaging, entertaining, likable and authentic. You really are an extraordinary person and I am sincerely happy for your success. I hope your life is truly as balanced and happy as you project on YouTube.

2 minutes into practice and a Nymphalidae butterfly flew into my balcony. She calmly settled down on my palm and refused to fly right away. So I offered hew kiwifruit and mandarin as treats, which she gladly accepted. We spent beautiful 15 minutes together.
Just wanted to share this small magic moment with you and thank Adriene for this beautiful practice. Namaste!

Really needed this practice today, yesterday I was carrying fairly heavy shopping home. It made my shoulders sore, and that has carried over to this morning. But after your wonderful yoga practice, my shoulders feel light, and soft, and no longer sore. Thank you so much Adriene for your brilliant yoga practices, I would be totally lost without you. Dear, sweet Adriene,

It was three years ago that I first googled "yoga for complete beginners" and found you. Your 23 minute Yoga for Complete Beginners started it all for me and since then rarely has a day gone by that I do not practice with you. I am a former ballet dancer whose body at 51 is riddled with scar tissue from old war wounds (left hammy, Imma looking at you!) and the reality is I will probably never get my knees anywhere close to straight in Forward Fold but as you say so frequently, "Who cares?" It is this non judgemental attitude that has caused me to recommend you far and wide. And everyone I send your way comes back to me with a big thank you.

Wow, this one showed me today that despite my sense that the hamstrings and hips seem not to have improved, they actually have. So happy for that!

Exhale 2024 day 8 I really felt this practice not only in my hips but in my abs. It was fun to actually get to use my yoga strap that has been sitting in the chest in my Zen Den where I store my yoga supplies. 😊

My husband was practicing with me and instead of a dish towel he used his own sock. You can imagine his reaction when Adriene suggested covering your eyes 😄

I don't know why, but I need to come back to this particular practice regularly, because sometimes only after this one I feel like myself again and I feel like I can breathe and feel grounded and present. And I do yoga almost every day, and still this is the one that helps me the most. So big love and gratitude for this one and for Adriene 💖💜💖💜💖

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Bloom Day - 20 was a great pleasure to revisit. It was 1 year ago since this practice. It was ideal for PMS symptoms. I feel refreshed and to think I almost didn't make it to the mat. I arrived at 11:58 P.M. yesterday, so technically, I made it before the next day.
