the point of doing this exercise over the others is that this is long range (even extreme long range because it stretches the bicep in both elbow and the shoulder)

Is it normal to feel it in the brachial/inner elbow area? I absolutely hate it when this is triggered in the exercise *as well*. I only want to feel my bicep, nothing additional 😢

You missed the point. The main benefit of seated incline curl is that the biceps are forced into a stretched position even at rest.
