GUYs when eating, chew your food ALOT. This adds less stress on your food pipe and helps your food digest faster and easier :). This helps tho sadly im always the last one to finish eating :/

So I been going through this for the last 7 months completely healthy before never had an issue to complete panic and fear that I am dying, got my heart checked out got multiple tests for different types of cancers, went to the emergency 17 times in one month before calming myself and realizing I always had signs and I could’ve done a lot to prevent it. One thing I tell you guys trust me we will not die from this fight it laugh it out because we got this. I notice on days where I eat the fattier foods and and drink alcohol it’s worse for the next few days, feels like I can’t breathe get dizzy left arm gets numb all tingly, every symptom of a so called heart attack. Just relax, let’s all just try to live a less stressful and healthier life. We all need to fight back at it can’t happen if we aren’t doing something to feed the beast. Share your stories with me I know all of you made me feel a lot better knowing I’m not alone, all though I wish this upon no one it really does make me happy. We got this guys.

5. Eat lean meat, like chicken or fish
6. Avoid sour, spicy and fatty foods
7. Eat slowly and eat little
8. Walk 20-30 mins after each meal
9. Sleep atleast 6-8 hours everyday
10. Take deep breathes, when im feeling stressed
11. Take a break when im feeling tired
12. Practice deep breathing exercises
13. Meditate
14. Write on my notebook to express my feelings when im being anxious
15. Talk to your family, friends love ones if you need help.
16. Drink probiotics

Just some tips i hope they help~
Dont go to bed after eating wait 1/2 hours before you go to sleep
Always sleep on your left side and elevate your pillow
Now when it comes to food caffeine and alcohol is definitely a trigger and you should avoid it but Just try to see what foods are okay with you
Also try herbs like licorice root aloe vera and ginger to relieve the pain they also help sooth the esophagus and gut<3

Had bad GERD. Completely eliminated sugar, processed foods, spices, carbonated drinks, etc. Ate only brown rice and miso soup for a month. . Had bad headaches for two weeks, but after that I felt like a million dollars, with zero reflux. My gastro was amazed. He wanted to put me on Famotidine, but that was not the path I wanted to take. Always go natural, if you can.

For anyone struggling with gerd out there I literally cured mine, I’m not sure what it was but I am taking garlic pearls and olive leaves extract capsules. My gerd is gone. I had it so bad to where I couldn’t even sleep laying down.

Same! Sometimes when I would bend over or take a deep breath, it felt like there was air stuck in my chest and it would cause a palpitation feeling in my chest. Doc said it was mainly anxiety and GERD.

I have and still do. Mine isn’t bad sometimes; I get warmth in the chest or slight pain when I breathe out. I didn’t have symptoms of feeling dizzy, throwing up, lost of sleep. I cut back on alcohol and now do the same for coffee. I learned I was drinking Seltzers almost every day and having coffee, so it caught up. You have to listen to your body. I’m going to see a specialist and check and see if there isn’t any damage.

I get acid reflux but only on a nighttime especially before I sleep. I can’t remember a single night where I haven’t has acid reflux and heartburn for about 3 hours

i fixed my gerd by splitting my meals up into smaller portions and waiting a couple of hours between meals. Eating too much food in one sitting can cause heart burn. i would recommend trying this if you suffer from heart burn and you don't want to change what you eat.

I thought I had GERD, but turns out it was just acid reflux. I take daily medications now and it’s working. Just waiting when I’m fully better again.
