I just recently my pituitary tumor which I’ve had most of my life, damaged my hippocampus. This honestly, makes a lot of sense and explains so much.

Interesting, though I don't think it's necessarily as simple as that.

Mainly because there are several documented cases of people being over 100, and they're doing relatively fine mentally.

While aging does affect our bodies and brains, we shouldn't forgot that we are very adaptable and versatile beings.
