What to do if you knock out a permanent adult tooth! 1. If tooth is dirty rinse off and then carefully insert back into socket in correct orientation (if possible). 2. If you cannot insert tooth back in, hold in mouth (saliva) or a cup of milk. 3. Call your dentist ASAP for their recommendations.

Teeth can heal back over, so yes you can put them back in.
If you can't get it back in it's best to keep it hydrated so storing in your mouth works.
Milk is better because water can over hydrate and destroy the tooth.

Many people are so confused about her saying put it back in but that's what you have to do, I knocked out a tooth and all the dentists were at a assembly in a different place so I had little to no choice but luckily we pushed it in but no roots will be there and it will most likely become enclosed and won't move even with braces

Yes u gotta wash it put u only gotta wash at the top i think but i chould be wrong. And if u dont go to the dentist u can't put ur teeth back in ur mouth. Btw i chould be wrong and my dream job is a dentist lol and im a big fan!!!
