Why INFJs SCARE Other Personality Types (MBTI)

In this video I discuss several reasons that INFJs often SCARE other MBTI personality types.

Many INFJs have had trouble relating to other types and there are distinct reasons for this. However, this does not make the INFJ wrong.

In this video you'll learn why you might be unique, but you'll also come away knowing that your uniqueness is not something to be ashamed of.

Most people learn to doggy paddle, whereas us INFJ are born to dive.

I've been in many uncomfortable situations where they know I know and they know I know they know I know. This happens in a flash when I see right through their fake persona and lies. It's a strange phenomenon, almost telepathic? I get angry that they were trying to deceive me (or others). They get angry because they feel exposed and are afraid I'll expose them to others. Very uncomfortable indeed. It ain't easy being INFJ. 😑

This might be your most spot-on video thus far. I'm always perplexed by accusations of intimidation, while being the quietest in the room. This explains so much.

As an INFJ, 1 thing... we don't gossip... We keep sensitive information of others out of respect. And people should trust us...

Be confident, INFJs, never apologize for your strengths, or who you are. You are the most altruistic of all the types. Screw those who don’t appreciate your gifts. I mean it. Addition by subtraction. It is their issue, not your issue. -53 year old INFJ

This is why it's so important to not share wisdom with people who are not listening. My intuition quickly senses when others cut me off in conversation and they change the subject.

I tend to wait too long to stand up for myself. So when I do I come across real mean, even in my opinion, especially if it was a misunderstanding. But other times I don’t feel sorry. I’m just angry I didn’t do it sooner.
Enjoyed this video. It’s so accurate.

Just read your latest email, was a great affirmation. INFJ affirmations make me feel grounded and knowing I am not losing my mind.

So true. Many of these things are why I get depressed over being INFJ.

I appreciated your use of the term, "group think." I find it amazing that people are stuck in this mindless quagmire. I see so many box tickers that follow corporate think blindly. Now I understand why I see through this corporate manipulation when others can't. I love being an INFJ.

You're speaking right to my heart. I had to cut off contact with an INTJ. After 7 months of ghosting, breaking up, getting back together, ghosting again I could'nt bear it anymore. He did (like everybody else) underestimated me. It hurts like hell but he wasn't meant for me...😢
Btw, thank you, you can't imagine how much you're helping me 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Thank you so much for your videos about INFJ. ❤ I can relate to so many things you are talking about. In some ways, as an INFJ feel that we are somewhat different than the majority of people. I often feel that there are expectations placed on us and if we choose not to do what is imposed on us, suddenly we are told that something is wrong with us, we are flawed. When I was bending trying to be what was expected of me regardless of my nature, I was feeling terrible about myself. In the world where a group think prevails, ostracism becomes normal. I don't feel that I am a special person. I just know that it is difficult to function in the world that is trying to define who we should be as a person. Therefore, it seems easier not to fully participate, so that some people don't have another reason to gossip. We INFJs are very sensitive to respect for human rights. Conformity is often scary to me because I know the world's history quite well. I prefer to cultivate my personal world where I can be myself without constantly worrying about what impression I gave today. We, INFJ seem to annoy some people and I just don't have any energy to waste while attempting to explain myself. Because I view energy as a precious and limited resource, I have to use it to be able to live, instead of trying to please everybody around me. I am glad there are a few people that may still understand what I am talking about. 😊

A one on one with Jay! What a beautiful offer to give to those of us who are struggling as INFJ. You are so strong for doing something like this. Sometimes when people open up and tell me things, it is so sad that I am drained for days after. Low-key worried about this happening to you but it's most likely just me projecting lol. I truly hope each encounter is filled with growth and a sense of peace that always seems to elude us. You are awesome!
