So true; and this is done so quickly. I know what type of person they are by just having a 5-10 mins conversation with them. I either let them do the talking and pay attention to their body language, facial expressions or how they carry themselves and the conversation. Or I will ask them certain questions, depending on what outcome I want from that conversation.

💯 I pick up on nonverbal cues, cadence of speech, eye contact, volume, tone, etc, and can do all of these things simultaneously. This allows a very quick assessment because as an introvert I want to determine who to align with (and who to avoid).

This is such a good way to explain it. I've always compared it to the Terminator scanning people. It's automatic. And I'm only recently realizing that people can see what's going on and it makes them uncomfortable. 😮

I always hesitate in sharing what I feel about someone new to friends because I feel like I’m unfairly judging that person based on no actual evidence to present to my friends you know? But I swear, every single time I do get such a bad or good feeling it turns out to be accurate😅

Unconscious program… Its no decision, its what happens even unconsciously with all people we encounter. We just recognize how they walk, dress, speak, react, look around, interact with others, what they say…. And we notice inconsistency, we notice how they speak about others, if something is out of line and how they reach their goals…. i.e. if they want to get past somebody there are many ways to do so. And it can say a lot about a person how they do it. You can usually see if they are in a hurry, if they are respectful or not, if they are kind or reckless…
So we just keep our eyes open and our mind open, and we tend to trust what we see with an open mind more than what people say about someone….

I can look into their eyes and feel people's energy. Ask a couple of questions... or see how they react even if I offer someone some water. When you see how they react just by that will give me tons to work with.
